The location near Sabana Grande is great, and the hotel feels pretty safe, which matters a lot in Caracas. But they don’t speak English, which is normal in Venezuela. There’s no water tank, so a disruption like the one last week could become a big problem. They also change prices every two weeks, which isn’t much fun.

For a quick visit on a tight budget, it’s a decent place for a night or two. The beds, lighting, and TV are all fine, and there’s hot water. The restaurant is nice but mostly has street food, and you can pick up a cheap beer before bed.

The facilities feel a little dated and it’s not fancy, but the balcony was awesome. At $9 a night, it’s hard to complain. As for Venezuela, I’d avoid going unless you know people there and have enough experience with dangerous countries.
