One of the shower's glass panels was missing, so we had to choose between getting the bathroom floor or the countertop soaked. That really wasn't what I'd expect from a hotel of this standard. At arrival, we also had to fill in a long form by hand. They'd made a copy of our passport and could have filled in most of those fields themselves, but seemed to expect the customer to do it.

The toilet didn't work for our whole stay, and the bed was meant to be one large bed but was actually two small beds pushed together. On top of that, reception was very rude and accidentally charged us twice. All of this happened on our wedding night!

I liked the hotel, and the location is very good. There are hospitals, shops, and restaurants nearby.

The way I was treated left a terrible impression. Joel, the manager, was rude and dismissive, and the staff didn’t seem knowledgeable or friendly. I came from the US and was told there was a special promotion, but after one night they made me leave, even though I thought I’d paid for two. The food was poor and breakfast was only so-so. I also felt discriminated against. I’m beyond disappointed. It felt like a total SCAM. Do not stay here EVER.

That view from the top floor is mind-blowing, with the Avila mountain and all of Caracas spread out below. The staff at Hotel pestana's were so nice to us and gave exceptional customer service. I'd recommend it 100%.
