There’s a great Sambil supermarket right outside the hotel, which makes this a good place to stay in the center of isla margarita. Breakfast is served at the hotel, and there are lots of places to get lunch or dinner in Sambil.

The pool is small, but the green water, surrounding gardens, and jets make it feel like a lagoon, and there are hammocks outside the rooms. It’s a relaxed little hotel with just over a dozen rooms, all spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The downstairs rooms by the pool open onto an interior hallway or the garden. Upstairs there’s a terrace, plus access to the roof with a spectacular view. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were truly friendly, without being over the top. Breakfast was delicious, with great arepas, cheese, eggs, and butter. The kitchen was spotless, which matters to me. I’d definitely recommend this place for relaxing, enjoying yourself, and getting away from everything.

The owners were so kind and ready to help with any information, and breakfast was superb. The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful natural surroundings and an incredible beach just steps away for windsurfing and kiteboarding. I’ll be back soon! Maria Antonietta
