The poolside breakfasts were a treat, with lots of local and international choices, and the restaurants served delicious food. I stayed here for a while for work and had a well-equipped room with everything I needed. The staff were polite and friendly, and spoke English without any trouble. On weekends the pool area opened to the public, so there were always some new faces around. It started to feel like a second home. I hope I get to return someday.

The hotel is a little far from the center, but it sits among lovely mountains. Rooms and service were great. The swimming pool has several sections, including one just for children, as well as slides.

The pool area felt like a water park, with two huge slides and a kids' park in the pool. Staff were friendly and attentive, and my room was clean and tidy. The rooms could use some updating to the furniture and other things, but the general manager told me they already had a remodeling project planned for next year. There are flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and live music plays at the pool restaurant, Makabi, from Thursday to Saturday. Some call it the place with the best Mojitos in the world. Maracay isn't as pretty as it used to be, but Hotel Pipo helped me focus on my vacation instead. I had a very pleasant stay and would go back to Maracay a thousand times just for this hotel.
