Breakfast was varied and enjoyable each morning, and the location was very convenient. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had air conditioning that worked perfectly. The hotel is still being renovated, but that didn’t get in the way of a very good stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. We’d happily return on our next trip to the island.

We’re sure we’ll choose The Dynasty Hotel again when we come back to Porlamar. The staff were excellent and always attentive to guests. Everything else was good too, though the remodeling brought some noise and lots of contractors outside.

The managers were friendly and helpful, and the food was plentiful. Some local dishes weren’t to my taste, but I had no real complaint about the food. There’s a free shuttle to the beach, just check the schedule first. Wi-Fi worked great, and LA Vela mall is only a two-minute walk away. My room was clean but quite dated, with cupboards that need renovating. The safe was broken and looked like it belonged in the overall shabby room. I knew this was a budget hotel, so I didn’t mind much. I mostly used the room for sleeping and keeping my luggage. It had a small fridge, which came in handy, and a stovetop I didn’t need because my package was all-inclusive. For a reasonably priced, quick vacation where I’d be out most of the day, I’d stay here again.
