Wharfside Village Hotel

The location was perfect, with almost everything within walking distance and the resort right beside the Red Hook ferry for easy trips back to St Thomas. The rooms were very clean, and the customer service was outstanding. The staff were organized, diligent, and on top of everything we needed. One of the best stays I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back!

We just got back from four nights and would definitely visit again. The rooms were clean and well decorated, and we loved our beach-view king room and its patio view. Everyone we dealt with provided top-notch service. I think this is the best location on the island, close to the main pier and the main taxi area for rides to the beaches. It was also an easy, safe walk to all the restaurant bars we wanted to visit, except for the Windmill. We loved the Beach Bar on the property and happened to catch a great live band there. Even though Karma and the Beach Bar restaurant and bars were close by, we couldn’t hear a thing from our room. Can’t say enough good things about this property.

Adam gave us lots of helpful recommendations since it was our first time on the island. We also had a really nice room with beautiful ocean views. This is the most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Being right in the middle of Cruz Bay made the location superb, and our room had a genuinely magnificent view of the bay. The bed and climate controls were great too. The room was spacious, though it felt a little bare. The balcony looked huge but only had two chairs, a plant, and a small table. It was fine, just odd that they stuck to the basics when there was room for more. The TV was confusing to use, with a couple of remotes and a special card needed to decode it. That seems like an easy fix. Maid service was the main drawback. They made the bed, emptied the trash, and changed towels, but didn't really clean. After six days, there was sand all over the balcony, dirt on the floor, and grime on most surfaces. At these prices, that was disappointing, though it was a fairly minor issue. Still, we had a nice stay.
