We loved our garden-view room on the second floor. It was private and comfortable, even though the resort was sold out and couldn’t grant our upgrade requests. Aline kept the room spotless, made sure we had everything we needed, and the turndown service was a lovely touch. Coming back from dinner to clean towels and the lights on felt so welcoming. Knema, our resort host, checked us in and left a fruit plate and other goodies for our anniversary. So thoughtful! Wendy and the pool staff always found us a comfortable spot, and we looked forward to talking with them. Most of the week the pool had only adults, though there were several kids there over the weekend. We enjoyed all the activities, especially rum tasting with Kishanna. Whenever we saw her, she greeted us and asked how our day was going. Checkout was the one disappointment. When we asked to review the bill, they brushed us off and told us to go to the other desk without even looking at us. I understand it’s a busy time, but that felt very different from the rest of the week. Aside from that, the week was awesome: great rooms, a beautiful beach and pool, and amazing staff. The staff really made this stay. Every person we met was kind and ready to help, and the resort has a lovely setting with great amenities. You can also use the Westin next door, and it had everything we needed. We rented a car, though shuttles and taxis were easy to find. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Megan made the service feel especially good: she was warm, attentive, and seemed to know what people needed without hovering. The ocean view added a lot, too. My all-meat pizza was excellent, with a nicely charred crust and a great mix of chorizo saltiness, sausage, fat, cheese, and marinara. The flavors and textures all worked together.

We couldn’t bear to leave Marriott’s Buoy Haus, and we’re already looking forward to returning. The meals we had there, including pizza, Caribbean Lobster, fish tacos, and custard french toast, were fresh and flavorful, with ocean views while we ate. Our room was clean and lovely, and the resort itself was beautiful. We were only steps from the beach, with padded loungers, free snorkel gear, and pretty pool areas to enjoy. The staff were welcoming and thoughtful throughout. We got fresh towels, chocolates, and fruit plates, and they even marked our Babymoon. That made an unforgettable luxury stay feel even more special.
