Huy Trung Homestay

We enjoyed having dinner in the family kitchen. Huy Trung welcomed us warmly, and our room was clean, with good mosquito nets and a great shower. Our host knew a lot about the area and the country more broadly, and told us about some interesting projects in the local community.

We stayed at Huy Trung Homestay in Bắc Hà, and the place felt like home. It was especially meaningful because the homestay is only a short walk from my childhood home. Trung was a warm, helpful host. The owner is an architect, which shows in the thoughtful design and comfortable details. Our kids loved the puppies, fresh fruit and tasty pancakes. It was a welcoming place for families, and we won't forget our stay. Thanks, Trung. We highly recommend it and will be back.

Even though we booked at the last minute, Huy Trung and his family welcomed us warmly. We shared some delicious meals, and he thoughtfully put up the Dutch flag for us. We were traveling by motorbike, and he gave us useful advice on the best routes. We’d recommend this homestay to anyone. Thanks for everything, Huy Trung. We had to move on, which was a shame, as we’d have happily stayed longer.

We ended up needing somewhere to stay on a cold night after an unexpected change of plans. The owners got a room ready for us right away and were very attentive, with helpful ideas for what to see each day. We liked it enough to stay two nights, and had a fantastic time.
