The owner was really lovely and chatted with me through Google translate 😁. It’s a nice place with a large bedroom and clean showers, and a good base for heading to Bac Ha’s Sunday weekend market.

I expected a homestay, but they put me in a temporary shared space that wasn’t really a room, just a cubicle separated by partitions. Be sure to discuss the room clearly with the homestay owner when you rent.
