Kezan Hotel 4m2

For 30,000 won, I stayed in the cheapest special offer room, and it was pretty much what you'd expect for the price. The furniture looked old and worn, the hotel interior seemed dated, and the Wi-Fi was slow even though I could connect. Two of the six lights were out or close to it, and I had to twist the shower faucet neck back into place because it was turned around. At night, noise from drunk people shouting in the alley near the entertainment district might bother you. On the plus side, the water pressure was strong, the refrigerator and air conditioner worked well, and the room was cleaned thoroughly. Being near the Korean district made it convenient to eat out or go to the supermarket. Seems fine for a few days, especially at this cheap price.

The room was average for the general standard, at 600,000 VND per day for a single room, and breakfast wasn't included. The laundry staff's work really annoyed me: they wrote on guests' clothes with ink, and one Sunday they came in without knocking to take my laundry. When I woke up, I found the bag outside the door. I've stayed at other hotels in the area, but haven't seen laundry staff this unprofessional before. Housekeeping was unprofessional too. The cup of tea I'd had the night before was still untouched when I got home from work the next afternoon.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the area is lively, so the location is okay. But 600k VND a night feels too expensive for an average room without breakfast. The room was terrible: noisy, with poor soundproofing and a fire alarm that didn't work. They cleaned it but left a lot of used items behind. The mattress was poor quality, the bed was dirty, and there was no coffee.

The price was exorbitant. I initially gave the hotel three stars, but the owner's attitude changed my mind. They told me to find a more secluded place and told me to leave, so I lowered it to one star.
