I stayed at Lucky Star Hotel in Buon Ma Thuot for two nights and had a great time. The location worked well, close to the city center but quiet enough to feel peaceful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with both local and international choices. I especially liked the Vietnamese coffee. After exploring the city, it was nice to return to a spacious, spotless room with a very comfortable bed. It was thoughtfully laid out, and the amenities covered what I needed, including fast Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries. The staff were attentive from check-in onward, with warm hospitality and a real eye for detail. Lucky Star Hotel made my Buon Ma Thuot trip more memorable. I highly recommend it for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town.

The location gets 3 stars from me, but the hotel itself is clearly outdated. The rooms feel gloomy, the shower barely sprays and takes ages to heat up, and there’s also a hole in the bathroom. The cleaners bothered us a little by turning up at random and entering to clean without permission. We wound up staying 2 days instead of 7.

At check-in, I asked the receptionist at least twice what I’d pay if I checked out late, around 8 pm. She said it would be half a day's charge. But when I checked out the next day, I was charged for a full day, and she said I’d asked about leaving at 5 pm instead. I would have been fine and made other plans if I’d known the price from the beginning. Changing what I said like that is unacceptable.

I had a double room that was pleasant and fairly roomy, with decent facilities. The staff were friendly, and the location was good. For similar conditions, the price was better than in Dalat.

Everything was really good, especially the low price for one night.
