Thien Nga Hotel

The room looked nicely decorated, and the staff were pleasant. It's right in the city center, which is handy. Noise is the downside: sounds carry between rooms, even the other room's handwashing and toilet flushing, and the corridor gets loud when guests are checking in. Still, it's a nice place to sleep apart from that.

For this price, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small, but tidy and cozy, with fairly new, clean equipment. It's in central BMT, just a few steps from the night market and close to a convenience store. I'd definitely come back and recommend it. My one complaint is that laundry cost a bit much during Tet.

Our room was clean, but noise was a real problem. We could hear everything from nearby rooms, the lift was very loud, and even a room on the "garden" side didn't keep out the sounds from outside. The staff also made no effort to help or give us even basic information, although we were polite and calm. There are better places to stay nearby.

The room was new and spacious, but the blanket had pink specks and smelled bad. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest checked out. When I asked for another room, they offered to replace the blanket or give me a different room for a higher price. The receptionist, who I think was the boss, was very aggressive, unruly, and rude.
