Phu Cuong Hotel Ca Mau

At 10pm I tried to visit my mother and bring her food and water, but Hân and an employee named Lộc stopped me at the door. They said visitors had to pay USD 50 per person just to enter, even to see family or drop off supplies. I’d expect a hotel to ask for ID or check with the guest, not charge that amount. When I booked in November, this policy wasn’t in place. If a room costs 1.3 million USD, why should a visitor pay half that? It makes the staff at the desk seem focused on getting money, and I wouldn’t recommend booking here. They also charge extra if you have underage kids in your room, even though it’s a family room. What if a family member were seriously injured or dying, would they still refuse to let relatives upstairs? The night service was honestly the worst I’ve experienced, and the employees seemed to be trying to scam visitors over money.

When we stayed here with our family before, the staff were rude and kept demanding tips. As guests, we don't want to be hassled for extra money. The customer service wasn't friendly.

There are plenty of food shops and restaurants nearby, and the rooms have great views. My family always chooses Phu Cuong hotel when we visit Ca Mau. The rooms are spacious and clean, and connecting rooms work well for us. This time, though, some facilities seemed a bit downgraded, with water leaking. I think they need maintenance or renovation. The service was good otherwise, and the staff were friendly and nice. There’s a welcome when you check in, and the bellboy helps with your luggage as at any other hotel. The breakfast has enough options, and the seasoning is reasonable. They have a large front yard for parking, but space there is limited to 6-7 cars, with a few more spots on the other side. The staff will help you find a space. Recommended!

We'd come back again. The hotel is centrally located and offers good value for money, with a rooftop pool and a great view. The breakfast buffet was excellent too.
