Villa Garden Cam Ranh 1516

A special thank you to Ms. Tram Dao for the attentive, professional, and enthusiastic care throughout our stay. The front office team gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away, and Mr. Manh and Mr. Tan also offered kind, dedicated help. Our three-bedroom villa was spacious, elegantly designed, and thoughtfully equipped. The private pool added comfort and privacy, and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere suited our family well. We appreciated the restaurant's varied menu, especially the flavors that fit Asian tastes. It was a memorable stay, and we look forward to coming back.

The villa and its roughly 80 euros per night price were very good, but I was torn between three and four stars. The check-in and checkout problems left me giving it three out of five. I stayed at Wyndham Garden Cam Ranh for three nights. I booked a one-bedroom villa, but it was actually a three-bedroom villa with two rooms locked, so the place felt even bigger. It looked impressive and was in very good condition. The bed was comfortable, cleanliness was great, and I saw no cockroaches in the room or around the pool. The resort was quiet and easy to relax in. Motorbike parking was convenient too. You can't park at the villa itself, but there's a hotel parking area outside, which makes sense for keeping engine noise away. Staff get around in quiet electric vehicles. One staff member also kindly reminded me about the charger I'd left behind before I left. Still, several things fell short of what I'd expect at a five-star resort. There was no in-room safe or iron, and the large kitchen was barely equipped, with only six glasses, six cups, and six small spoons. The washing machine was useful, but there was nowhere to hang clothes and no dryer. Housekeeping came into the bedroom despite me clearly saying “No” several times, which felt intrusive. The spa was closed during my stay. The beach was dirty, with lots of trash, and the bathroom sink drained poorly. Water pressure was too low as well. The reception experience was unprofessional at both ends of the stay. At check-in nobody explained how the deposit worked, and there was no baggage service or help loading or unloading the taxi, which I'd expect from a resort advertising five stars. We had to leave a deposit of one million VND. Only at checkout did staff suddenly ask for the paper receipt, although nobody had said at check-in that it would be needed to get the deposit back. Then I was told to wait ten minutes and come back to reception myself to ask whether the room had been checked. There was no way to let guests know when the process was finished, and reception didn't feel like five-star service.

The dining area was comfortable and relaxing, and the drinks were well made. The menu had plenty of variety, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. I especially liked the seafood pizza, with its generous toppings, fresh ingredients, and nicely balanced taste. Ms. Panda took thoughtful care of us and was attentive throughout our stay. This was one of the best parts of our trip, definitely recommended!

The resort was a great place to unwind. If you just want to disconnect and chill, it's a good fit, though entertainment is limited and the city is extremely far away, about an hour by Grab. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, great for families. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The beach was super nice and clean, and we enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't too crowded when we went in March this year. Restaurant service was a bit slow, and the food was decent but expensive. You can order Grab food, but you have to walk to the front security area to collect it yourself. Breakfast wasn't included in our booking, so we paid for the spread. The food was not bad, but a tad expensive too. One thing to know: the spa on the premises isn't affiliated with the resort and takes cash only, strictly no card. We didn't realize that, paid the deposit in cash, then didn't have enough to cover the rest of the massage. Luckily, after a huge struggle to communicate, we got the deposit back. They don't speak English at all.
