DeLaSea Ha Long Hotel

For a room and the views, this is a comfortable place. The breakfast was poor, the evening restaurant was practically nonexistent, and although we'd agreed on a 1 pm late checkout, they called at 12:20 and told us to leave. It's a good choice if all you need is a room. As for Ha Long City, honestly, don't bother planning a stay there. It's frustrating and awful. You'll go to places after reading reviews only to find the businesses closed, again and again. Truly miserable.

Phuong was amazing, greeting us warmly when we arrived and checking us out too. Our room had been decorated for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The whole property was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful hotel and staff. We'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel has been renovated recently, so the room looks nice and modern. Still, the cleanliness is questionable. There was a cockroach in my friend's room, and I found an insect wing and egg on my bedsheet. There's also a sewerage smell by the entrance.

My wife and I picked DeLaSea Hotel in Ha Long for our honeymoon, and it was a five-star experience. The location was prime, and every detail, especially the attentive staff, exceeded our expectations. I've stayed at several well-known hotels and have sometimes been let down by poor customer service. DeLaSea was the complete opposite. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Their professionalism and genuine smiles reflected a remarkable work culture, and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Absolutely phenomenal.
