A nice choice if you want to stay away from touristy areas. The rooms are comfortable, though a bit small, and the beds are somewhat hard. The view is nice, but the beach only looks good, you can't swim because it's too dirty. The restaurant is good. There are stairs everywhere, which isn't always practical with young kids. If there were a pool, this would be a fantastic place.

We had a weekend here and I wish I'd read the reviews first. The room cost too much for an ocean view full of fishing boats, and there was an unpleasant smell. The restaurant seemed to be the only choice, but the food was awful. At lunch, the hotpot portion was laughably small. For breakfast they gave us stale bread and insisted it was fresh. We were speechless. Calling this a relaxing trip was a mistake. Nothing felt worth it, and I'm never coming back.

A private, peaceful beach and a stunning sunrise from the bungalow made this a lovely nature hideaway. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant's limited selection was all fresh and delicious. The drawback is that the beach wasn't clean enough for swimming because people farm seafood there.

The water is actually very clean, but the beach needs regular attention. One morning it took me about an hour to help the only yard gardener clean it. If the owner spent more on an extra cleaner to tidy the beach at least twice a day, this could potentially become the kind of eco resort like Six Senses. Please sort rubbish before burning it. Some of it, like plastic bags, is toxic to burn.
