The owner’s kindness was what made my stay at An Nam in Can Tho memorable. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, even though we didn’t speak the same language. Google Translate helped us communicate, and she handled my questions and requests. She even let me check in at 2 am while she was asleep. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, efficient AC, a mini fridge, and a small table for eating and drinking. The price was incredibly affordable, and I found the hotel’s value hard to beat. It’s a bit far from the tourist spots, but Grab rides in Can Tho were affordable and made getting around manageable. The quiet area was a welcome break from the busy city center. I’d recommend An Nam to travelers looking for an affordable stay with comfort and good service.

I gave it 8.9/10 based on my own opinion. The location is easy to find, close to the center, and there are family eateries and restaurants all around. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything guests needed. The room was clean and airy, the air conditioning was as cool as Đà Lạt, and the shower had both hot and cold water. A couple of drawbacks: the TV seems to be there for looks, since it doesn’t normally play YouTube. There’s also no elevator, so reaching the fourth floor is difficult for older people when there’s no room available on a lower floor. 06/04/2025

The guesthouse is right by Hau River Park, which is handy for a morning walk, and Tran Van Kheo street nearby has lots of cafés and places to eat. It’s newly built, clean and comfortable, with parking out front on wide Le Loi street. The price is good too.

We paid 250,000 VND for a room for two. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really enthusiastic. There’s no elevator, but that was fine for us. The hotel is right on the main road near the food and entertainment area. I’d stay again if I get back to Can Tho.
