I was surprised by how beautiful the place was and how kind the service was. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and clean, and the breakfast was the best I had in all of Vietnam. They let us take sandwiches from breakfast and even provided lunch boxes, which really surprised me since other hotels say not to take food away. Those sandwiches were much needed for the kids before the long boat trip. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.

The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and we felt very comfortable. It’s a really great hotel. My only suggestion is for breakfast: instead of just labeling something “dumpling,” it would be nice to say what the filling is and whether it’s vegetarian. Apart from that, a great stay.

We spent two nights here and the room was pretty decent. At night we pretended to be ghosts and went around scaring people in the neighboring rooms. It was really fun and refreshing. My disappointment was the 200,000 VND fine we got for smoking in the room.

The breakfast was one of the best we had during our whole trip in Vietnam. Van Phat riverside feels almost new and was extremely clean, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a crystal-clear pool. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it.
