Wink Cantho Centre, Unscripted by Hyatt - 24 Hours stay

The river view is amazing, and the rooms were very clean. They’re on the small side with little space for clothes, but the bathroom is nicely fitted for the room’s size. The pool has a great view too, though it felt a bit cold in the evening without sunshine. The location is great, and for this part of Can Tho I think it’s the best choice. A special thank you to Trọng Nhân, our wink guide FO (reception), who was always around and helped us with everything, especially restaurants and getting transport to our next stop. We really appreciated his kind support.

Breakfast had a nice buffet, a little coffee machine, eggs made to order, and both Western and Oriental choices. We also liked the pool and its view. The corridors have carpet to cut down noise, though you can still hear neighboring doors shut. We stayed one night and found the bedroom comfortable, with good air conditioning and Wi-Fi. It was a bit small, which was the one downside. The modern style and atmosphere were lovely, and the staff were so friendly. A pleasant surprise if you’re after an upmarket, modern hotel with great service. I’d recommend it.

The hotel is clean and worth the price. Rooms are tidy, well equipped, and nicely designed, with some offering lovely views of the Huong River. The bright, attractive design includes a pool, and breakfast is varied and tasty, especially the local food. It’s centrally located for tourist attractions and specialty dining. The security staff at Tri An were courteous and enthusiastic, and came across as friendly, thoughtful, polite, and professional in helping guests.

A good pick if you’re into comfort and design, and willing to pay a little extra. The hotel has a bold, eclectic exterior, with a feel somewhere between a modern student campus and a chic youth hostel. My room was quiet and soundproof, with a dramatic city view through huge floor-to-ceiling windows. I liked the artsy decor, the gray concrete and bright color accents, and the bathroom materials, colors, and features. There were lots of smart controls and switches. Breakfast was included, a quality buffet with fresh items and a decent range. No complaints about the staff. Two night markets and the jetty are about 100-400m away.
