I got there very early in the morning, well before the early afternoon check-in, and they let me have a room to rest and use the toilet. Everyone working there was friendly and kind. They don’t speak English, but Google Translate made communication easy. The room was spacious and nice, and the bed was comfortable. I’d turn on the hot water switch as soon as you get the room, so it’s ready when you want to shower. Otherwise, you may have to wait around half an hour. They didn’t accept cards, so I had to get cash, but there’s a good ATM about a three-minute walk away.

The room was small but clean and okay for 300k for one person. What bothered me was how little regard the staff showed for guest privacy. I had to stay in the room during the day. They knocked to offer towels but peered over my shoulder, then went in while I was out getting food without asking or giving any notice. When I returned, the room had been cleaned and my things were moved around. I felt uneasy, so I switched to the hotel next door, Hong Sen. It was cheaper at 250k, friendlier, and clean too.

The river view was nice, and the room was clean. There were bugs, but they weren’t a problem with the window closed. The beds were a little hard, though. Good value for the money.

From the hotel you can see the Bang River, the province's main bridge, the transport station, and the mountains. It sits by the river and quite near a small traditional market.

The room was clean, and there was hot water. We spent two nights here; the location was very good and it felt worth staying. I'd recommend it.
