Luxury Hotel

The room was great and the rooftop bar was pretty nice, but there were several letdowns. No free water or laundry, and breakfast ends at 9 am. The staff didn't really speak English, and there were a few other things that didn't feel right for a "Luxury Hotel." I've stayed in many $10 hotels in China that were far better.

The staff are what made my stay at Muong Thanh Luxury Cao Bang especially memorable. Ms. Du, Mr. Thai, Ms. Dieu, and Ms. Anh were warm and professional, welcomed me sincerely, and kept anticipating what I might need. They handled my requests and minor questions quickly and with a smile. Ms. Huyen and Mr. Nguyen also deserve my thanks, along with the whole team, for their hospitality. The hotel itself was a comfortable, luxurious base, with impressive city views, spotless facilities, a pool, and good dining options. Everything was arranged easily, and the respect and care from the team turned a great visit into an outstanding one. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Muong Thanh Luxury Cao Bang to anyone visiting Cao Bang. Thanks again, and I hope to return.

We had a quiet, comfortable room on a high floor, and my elderly parents enjoyed the stay. It was spacious and clean, the water pressure and heater worked well, and breakfast was alright if you got there early. The lobby could be noisy with karaoke and people smoking, but it was still good value and comfortable.

The location is the only real plus. Our room had no AC, just a fan and heat. Reception said AC depended on the floor, with some rooms getting AC and others only heating, then suggested opening the window and running the fan. There were rusty shower tiles, the restaurant food was just okay, and the service didn't meet what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel.
