Hung Cuong Hotel

I loved the hotel view and the peaceful feel of town from there. The rooms were on the small side, but very clean and tidy, and the staff were really nice and pretty cute. Breakfast didn’t have many choices, and I think the corridors on each floor need more lights.

The room was very clean and the people were friendly. It was a little noisy, but that didn’t bother me. Don’t expect too much from the room, though you can call reception if you need anything. Food and drink places are close by, as are buses and taxis. It felt a bit pricey, but maybe that’s because it was high season. Pretty good overall.

The room had a modern design, and Chau Doc market was easy to reach, about 200 meters away. The transportation service operating in the same building as the hotel was really annoying. The bedspread and towels didn’t seem clean, and the price didn’t make sense for the service.

The room was small, with the bathroom and toilet separate, and it had air conditioning. It was clean and tidy, but the mattress felt like sleeping on the floor. There’s no buffet breakfast, and the reception staff were cranky. They were upset when I wouldn’t let them keep our passports downstairs, then became rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. In Australia we’re taught to keep passports in sight and never leave them elsewhere. It wasn’t an insult to them, our passports are our responsibility. One night was just okay, with nothing good enough to recommend. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
