The rooms looked lovely, with balconies, separate toilets, and big bathrooms, but ours had ants and mosquitoes everywhere. Our son was badly bitten. Noise was another problem: we could hear everything outside, dogs fought through the night, and in the morning a rooster joined the parrots. A machine at the hotel kept running until morning too. We asked for a different room on the second night, but it was just as noisy and had no water. I went downstairs to speak to the front desk. The employee came up and fiddled with the mixer, then went back down without saying anything. I waited, but he didn't return. Reception was closed when I went to check, and he'd gone to sleep under the stairs, watching YouTube videos. We had no shower that evening. In the morning, a young man came up, looked at the problem, and suggested using a shower in another nearby room. Service was poor. Some staff weren't welcoming and barely engaged; we got no information about the area, excursions, flyers, or bike, scooter, or taxi rentals. Their English was so limited that communicating through gestures seemed easier, and even Google was a struggle.
