The view was lovely even with the weather, and we had a great time at Coto village. The staff were attentive and helpful, the service was good, and we liked the accommodation. We'd happily come back.

The beach nearby was the cleanest and most beautiful part. The staff were lovely, and the bathroom was roomy and clean, though the rooms themselves were nothing special. I picked 4-5 mangoes while I was there, but some mischievous creature made off with all of them before I got to eat any. There were two four-legged staff members, a clever yellow one and a slightly goofy white one who often followed guests to the pink and yellow beach to sleep. Plenty of other pets too, like mosquitoes. I asked the homestay to lock them up, but they couldn't. The food at the public price was quite expensive, though the experience was worth it overall.

The stay was terrible. Nothing was soundproof, so noise came right through the rooms. The facilities were poor too, especially the Wi-Fi, which didn't reach everywhere.
