We booked the Alley Saigon hotel, then got transferred to the Saigoner hotel four buildings away. That felt kind of like a scam. The Saigoner place had no elevator and seemed abandoned, with no reception staff there. I had two bags, 25 kg and 7 kg. A guy helped at check-in, but when I asked for help leaving early around 6 am, the man at the Alley hotel's reception refused. My room was technically on the third floor, so I had to manage the luggage alone. Vietnam is cheap, so please spend a few extra bucks and book a good hotel with staff.

It was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the overall quality impressed me for a reasonable price. Staff were polite and helpful, with a smooth process from check-in through checkout. I'd recommend it for good value.

The location is great, and the price was very reasonable. I originally booked two nights at The Alley Saigon and ended up adding two more, staying five nights in total. Sia was welcoming and helpful with the bookings and my bags. I'd recommend staying here.

The room was very nice and the location was perfect. Ly Xia at reception really made our stay: he worked hard, was lovely, always smiling, and ready to help with anything. 10/10, would recommend.

We got in quite late, but the staff and manager made check-in easy and hassle-free. They were really friendly and accommodating. The location is right in the city center near the main attractions, yet it was surprisingly quiet at night. A great budget option in Ho Chi Minh City, and I'd recommend it.
