City Poshtel

The patio is a lovely spot, with fresh air, little plants, and cute kittens. And if you get hungry at midnight, you can pop downstairs to the convenience store for food and come back to the kitchen. The receptionist is so welcoming, and the cleaning ladies work hard. They're friendly and quick to smile. Everything is always clean and new, and the place smells great. I especially love the restroom, with its large, good showers and high-quality shampoo. Breakfast is nice too: bread, sandwiches, butter, jam, bananas, boiled eggs, and the appliances we need to cook for ourselves. This is such an excellent hostel. I've never stayed in a better one.

I liked the clean room, the helpful service team, and the quiet feel inside, which is surprising with bars all around. They also offer a really good range of quality tours at prices lower than what I found on Klook. But I had a hard time sleeping in the female dorm because the central air conditioning left it too hot, and hot water was scarce too. The shower area could be cleaner. Other guests kept leaving rubbish there, so maybe the team could put up signs like the ones in the toilets.

The beds have an unusual design that gives you good privacy, and the hostel was impressively clean. I’d rank it second among the Saigon hostels I’ve stayed in, after the Dorm hostel. My one complaint is that I booked a male dorm but was put in a mixed room because the male beds were full. I wasn’t comfortable with that, though I’ve still given five stars and hope the service can improve.

There’s a shop right below the hostel, which came in handy during rainy season when I didn’t want to go out and get wet. The place is modern, clean, and has comfy beds, breakfast included, and space either to relax or meet people. It stays quiet even with the party scene nearby. The staff were great and happy to help with questions or problems. Thanks, guys!
