Six Senses Con Dao

I spent my birthday here in 2022, and it made my first stay at a real five-star resort even more memorable. This was one of the best trips of my life. The ocean views are stunning, there’s complimentary drinking water around the resort, and it’s wonderfully quiet. The staff were ready to help anytime, and all the care, from twice-daily room cleaning and evening turndown to the little details, made me feel pampered. Being so close to nature felt healing, the food was delicious, and there were lots of scheduled activities. I also appreciated the no-plastic, eco-friendly approach. It’s very expensive, and if you want a modern, lively city feel or nightlife, this probably won’t suit you. The paths can be a bit dark at night, and everything shuts early. Still, for peace and relaxation it felt worth every penny, even with the high price and long flight. The service set a standard for luxury resorts for me, and made other resorts feel like they were missing something. If you love coconut ice cream, ask the staff about a local place outside the resort. You might find the best coconut ice cream of your life. An unforgettable birthday break.

For our honeymoon, this was the beach resort we could have hoped for. Six Senses Con Dao felt magical. The location and facilities are beautiful, and the beach is great for swimming or walking along. Breakfast was incredible, as was the rest of the food, and they were happy to accommodate us if we wanted a particular item. The spa has beautiful new facilities too. Our GEM, Tu, along with managers Marcus & Huy, were so kind and always checked in. An unforgettable stay.

The beach here is amazing, almost a mile of clear water, good surf, and loads of nature. Food was fresh and delicious, both Vietnamese and western. The staff are what really made it for us, whether they were at the restaurant, leading a hike or snorkel trip, driving us around the island, or joining the morning yoga session. Shoutout to Sandeep for that! Our GEM, Anh, was incredibly helpful and quick with activity schedules, reservations, answers, and anything else we needed at any time of day. She and all her colleagues made the stay for us. We also got to see two turtles releases, part of the hotel's on-site program. It's great with kids too, with activities to keep them busy and staff who seemed amazing with children from what we saw. I can't wait to come back.

Our four days at Six Senses Con Dao over Christmas were such a special family break. The setting is stunning, the service was exceptional, and the holiday atmosphere felt magical. Thao (Julia), our host, went above and beyond for our two children, arranging activities, little surprises, and day-to-day care that made them feel so welcome. That helped us relax and enjoy the time together. Marcos was warm and attentive, with great recommendations, and somehow kept on top of every detail before we even asked. We couldn't have wished for a better family stay. Such a special place thanks to an incredible team, and we can't wait to return.
