The reception lady was lovely and helpful. The location is central, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the rooms are nice and cleaned every day. Still, there was a damp, mouldy smell as soon as we entered, unbearable at times, though it wasn’t a major issue overall. There was no hand soap, which really should be there even in a hostel. Our room was beside reception, and the biggest problem was the noise. Around 7-8am, staff and guests talked so loudly that sleeping was impossible even with earplugs. It could work for a stay of 2-3 nights otherwise.

I don’t understand the high ratings. The place didn’t feel reliable to me. The rooms smelled damp, had mould on every wall, bugs and terribly hard beds. There’s no air conditioning. You have to pay for everything, even toothpaste, sealed bottled water and a comb, which is ridiculous. It may be cheap, but I don’t think it’s worth it. I bet there are much better options in Da Lat.

It’s in a central spot, close to lots of things, but that was about the only plus for me. The person on duty was asleep when we arrived. The room smelled horribly mouldy and damp, and there was no coffee or tea, no spoons or bowls, just two coffee cups. The beds were rock hard. There wasn’t air conditioning, only a fan.

Tauy at reception was especially helpful, and the service was impeccable. Her local tips, including where to eat and what to do, were great. Her advice also helped us book transport and saved us a lot of time. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

The location is amazing, but the rooms are old, the beds are rock hard, and there’s a humid smell. The free breakfast was disgusting, the worst we had. The woman at the front desk was kind enough to let us check in early and move us to another room after we found water coming in.
