Artis Hotel Dalat

On day two, the smoke and loud music were still there. We opened the door and ran the fan to air out room 206, hoping the music would stop, but it went on late into the night. I called reception to ask for a different room, but none were available, so my husband and I left for another hotel. We had to pay quite a lot for this stay and there was no breakfast, and they won't refund the unused nights. For what it's worth, I can't speak for the other rooms, but I'd avoid 206. I booked Artis Hotel after the place I'd reserved for my first day in Da Lat smelled of mold and mildew. Room 206 seemed okay when we first looked at it, with a modern feel and a comfortable appearance. That impression didn't last. It smelled of smoke, which I later learned came from burning tree trunk and rubbish. The room wasn't soundproof either. We could constantly hear the elevator, children laughing, doors slamming, people talking, and TVs in the background.

Trung deserves five stars for helping me collect the things I forgot when checking out. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, and the furnishings are new too. Highly recommended!

There were a few drawbacks: the staff and I had a language barrier, and the checkout time was rigid. Still, it was quiet and relaxing, and we'd definitely recommend staying here. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel offered good value for the comfort and location. It's a little outside the city but still convenient, with several shops and places to eat nearby.

I stayed for 3D2N and everything else was great. The water heater was inconsistent, though, and the water turned cold while I was showering.
