10/10
We stayed at Phu Quoc Resort and Spa for more than two weeks and really enjoyed it. The location is close to what you need, with good restaurants an easy walk away, and the beach is very near. The pool was wonderful, though a few more loungers would be nice. Wi-Fi worked well throughout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an outdoor sitting area where we had morning coffee and relaxed in the evenings. The friendly cleaning staff looked after it daily. Breakfast had a good range, and we especially liked having eggs cooked individually. Ms. Hong and the reception team were kind, courteous, and accommodating. We’d want to stay here again if we returned to Phu Quoc.

Of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip, this was the worst. The room and bathroom were full of flies and so unhygienic that I couldn’t even brush my teeth in the bathroom. It looked really creepy. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and it didn’t have the equipment that had been listed. The hosts were rude and dismissive, didn’t listen to our requests, and nobody helped with our luggage. I’d advise against booking here. We booked through AGODA, but when we asked for a refund, they told us to contact the hotel owner directly. That was after we’d explained that the owner had been arrogant and rude and that we don’t speak their language. It didn’t even seem like a 3-star hotel.

The place is nice and in a prime spot, with a Korean restaurant inside. My only complaint is the lack of a lift. After a tiring day, climbing the stairs gets exhausting.

Our room has had no working Wi-Fi for three days, and nobody has taken the problem seriously. There are mosquitoes all over the rooms, and the coffee runs out before breakfast is over. Not worth staying here.

The location was the one real plus, with the beach, bars, and a supermarket close by. The people working there all seemed unhappy.
