Summer was especially kind and happy to chat about Vietnamese history, and the whole staff were helpful with arranging buses and tours. This hostel sits right in central Dalat, close to food, shops, and sights. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Our private double room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely, spoke very good English, and had plenty of tips on places to visit. The hotel/hostel is nicely central. I can't speak to the dorms, since we didn't stay in one. There isn't really a shared social space, so it may not suit you if meeting other travelers is the goal.

The owners were wonderful and really helpful. Our beds were huge and neatly made, and the bathroom was clean. The lockers do make a lot of noise, I think that's the only drawback. Still, probably the best hostel we've stayed in for quite a while.

The bed was comfortable, the shower had nice hot water, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. Rooms were cheap at 350k VND a night, and the place is central. But it was noisy from both the busy street and the corridors. The room felt dark, with no natural light and harsh fluorescent lighting. There was hair on the floor, plus stains and holes in the sheets and towels. We stayed one night, then found a much better value room outside the city for 250k a night.
