The room was okay, and the hotel is close to Dalat market.

A little dated, though it wasn’t bad.

The owner's son could speak English, which let us communicate, though even then things didn’t go smoothly. A newlywed couple (maybe) had said it was okay, so I stayed by myself. I’d only booked two nights to sleep, but the stay was honestly awful. It felt like a shabby, unsettling old place, and the door seemed so flimsy that anyone could knock it open. The room felt like I might die if I rolled over once. I didn’t ask for a bigger room, but they upgraded me one day, so I had to move. I was getting really fed up. The windows, curtains, frames, and walls had mold, maybe from the temperature difference. There was a terrace, though it wasn’t really a veranda. Da Lat is cold, so there’s no need for air conditioning, but they left all the doors open and I ended up battling bugs. I’d bought tick repellent in Korea and sprayed the room with mosquito killer like Applekiller, which is supposed to kill people, before going briefly to the night market. I was still scared. The worst thing was that there was no hot water at all. I told them, and they just said, "Oh, I see~ ^^" and left. On another day the water was cold too^^, and I felt awful about the money, even if it wasn’t much. I’d booked intending to take a tour, shower, and head out. After I slept there one night, a new tour bus company appeared right in front of me the next day. The room had been completely cleaned up. Were they going to take guests too? This was the worst place ever. I just wanted to sleep, wash up, and leave, but no, really no. It doesn’t suit Korean sensibilities. If you can, pick a four-star-or-higher hotel in Vietnam. That woman whose heart got pounded by a 3.5-star hotel..........ㅠㅠ
