The rooms match the pictures, and each has a garden-facing balcony. Hot water was reliable, and there were a sink, cups, chopsticks, spoons, bowls, a fridge, and a small fan. The mattress was average, not too hard, though the sheets were a bit old. The place is homey in the best sense: the owner is enthusiastic and sweet. Rooms cost 500-600k, and motorbikes are available to rent for 100k a day. It's a little far from the center, but the road is easy to use and still lit at night. They give you a gate key so you can come and go yourself. There are also a few friendly dogs. I stayed in June, and since it was raining, I stayed in and bought hot pot. The owner lent me a full stove and pot. Just ask if you need anything, she's very helpful.

We rented the Dew room downstairs, with a mezzanine and two huge, soft beds. It was warm at night, and the bathroom was clean and smelled really nice. There's a kitchen if you want to cook, plus a BBQ area. Up in the attic, you can draw the curtains and watch the moon. There are lots of books in the room for when you're bored. It's a super cute homestay, and the host is easy-going. You can rent a motorbike to get around. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags in the living room and explore until check-in.

The food was expensive for what it was. The cooking was mediocre and seasoning uneven, with one of two plates extremely salty and the other almost bland. One fried pork knuckle was crispy, while the other wasn't. The motorbike rental was 90k VND a day, and I got a bike with a torn seat that soaked my pants. At 500k VND per day, the rooms felt ordinary and nothing special, and the electricity was weak. Running the water heater and hairdryer together overloaded it and shut off power to the whole room. When everyone in the row showered at once, the entire row had to wait. The first upstairs room by the stairs had low water pressure because it was at the end of the line. The rooms farther inside, which relied on that first room, had no water at all, like a drought. There was a 14-inch TV and an old NES console, but the cartridges had only six games, or sometimes 30 versions of Contra, so they were practically useless.

It's a quiet, airy place near tourist attractions, with motorbikes for rent right there. The house is beautiful, the owner is very enthusiastic, and both the house and services are affordable. I'll definitely return on my next visit to Da Lat.
