The price was very fair for what you get, and being right in the city center made it simple to get around on foot. My room was spotless and airy, so I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

They told me on arrival that my room had been given to someone who wanted to extend their stay that day. I’d booked a room with a balcony. They kindly offered a different room with a small discount, but it had no windows.

The rooms were tidy and fairly priced, but dealing with the younger host was awful. He tried to charge us for an extra scooter day even though we’d returned the keys that same evening. We also asked him to book our bus to Cat Tien, but our pickup was late, and when we tried to reach him, he disappeared. The older host tried to sort things out, which we appreciated, but we still lost half a day. The room itself was good, the younger host’s service and communication were terrible. 👎🏼

The parents helped us get onto another bus after a lot of back and forth using Google Translate, but it left two hours later than planned. We had to cancel our tour because their son had messed up the booking. We’d booked a 9 AM bus through him, and he told us pickup would be at the hotel at 8:30. We waited, but no bus came. He didn’t answer our messages or calls. There were problems with the scooters too. We’d clearly said we were renting them for one day and left the keys at reception that evening. When we came back later, the keys were gone. The next day, while paying for our stay, he claimed we’d rented them for two days, even though we no longer had the keys. He also wasn’t clear about when our laundry would be ready, ignored my texts, and was at a party shouting on the phone when I called. When I got the laundry back, he charged too much. Luckily, I had a photo of its weight on my phone. If you stay here on a budget, deal directly with the parents and avoid communicating with the son.
