The rooms are larger than those at other hotels in central Dalat, and there’s a big kids’ zone in the basement. It’s near the tourist attraction Love Valley. The buffet breakfast was good enough, parking is in the backyard behind the hotel, and the staff are friendly.

The staff were warm and professional, and the place was clean and spacious, just as we expected. The shower never had hot water, though, and the staff didn't seem to know how to sort it out. I'd still happily recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was the one bright spot, with a good buffet. The room itself was a decent size but felt gloomy, and getting in and out of the bathtub shower was difficult. We could hear all the noise from outside because the room wasn't soundproofed. It's also a long way from the center, and there's some kind of farm nearby whose fertilizer smell reaches the hotel.

It felt pretty boring staying here, and I wouldn't call it a real five-star hotel, unless that's just the Vietnamese standard. The area isn't dangerous, and there aren't homeless people around, but it has an eerie, middle-of-nowhere feel, almost like a haunted house. The location was the worst part for me: far from the square, with a strangely quiet road.

Aside from the room issues, things were OK. I was on the B2 floor in a windowless room, and sound carried so clearly between rooms that it felt like people were only three meters away. You probably won't sleep well. Keep your phone close too, since there's no other way to check the time.
