The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower with good pressure. Service was nice and the amenities were good. The only things keeping it from five stars were a slight mouldy smell from the bathroom AC and the location, which is a bit far from the center. Otherwise, it’s a very good hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, and lovely, with a really comfortable bed. The hotel itself looks beautiful from the outside, and the woman who welcomed us was friendly. She gave us maps with information about activities, and we could rent a motorbike directly from the hotel. We stayed three nights, and after researching places in Dalat, I think this was the best value for money. It’s also well located, around 10 minutes by motorbike from the restaurants and coffee shops. Thanks to the women who looked after us and arranged our transfer to Ho Chi Minh.

Le Soleil is tucked off the main road in Phuong/ Ward 8, so it was quiet most of the time. Getting to the town center by Grab, car, or bike was easy, and I often walked to Lake Xuan Huong in the mornings. Sunny and her team provide excellent service and were ready to help with requests. I enjoyed my seven days at Le Soleil Boutique Hotel, Dalat. Vietnam. It’s cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with very clean rooms, timber floors, lift service, drinking water, and a kettle. The reception has a warm feel, with seating for guests to relax. Outside, the patio has Parasols Umbrella where you can sit and read or eat. There’s also an annex restaurant where you can order food and drinks. The French colonial feel of Dalat is still easy to see, in the architecture, spring-like weather, coffee, and baguettes. Lake Xuan Huong and the mild temperatures, even in June, make the area a good place to take time for yourself and reflect. Weekends are a different story, with lots of local tourists coming for the cool weather and quiet. Their Hoa THONG Brewery and restaurant is a must visit. The local beers were excellent and reminded me of beers in Belgium, and they serve them with crisp fried corn and bar snacks. At smaller local eateries, ask to see the menu and confirm prices before ordering. The Hop on and Hop off tourist bus is also useful for visiting places of interest. Enjoy Dalat.

There are books you can borrow, plus a nice little coffee shop right next door with amazing coffee and good croissants.
