We were within walking distance of the lake, just one street from Duparc Hotel, and the stay felt peaceful and comfortable. Lu Tan Hotel has lovely spaces, from the garden to the ground floor breakfast area, where coffee and tea are available all day. You can make Vietnamese coffee with a phin, too. Upstairs on the third floor there’s another big shared area with an indoor fireplace, nice on cold evenings. They take cleanliness seriously. You leave your shoes at the entrance and get slippers, which helped the place feel cared for and homely. The rooms have a warm look, mixing modern and traditional design. Miss Uyen, the caretaker, and her daughter Ha were kind and attentive, and they brought us a heater when we asked. It’s a calm spot away from the usual Da Lat noise, and I’d recommend it to families or travelers who want to explore while having somewhere quiet to come back to. One update: the hotel now has new management.

The owner and staff were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was tasty, and I liked having complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. The hotel is close to the city center, making it easy to get around, yet it stays quiet enough for a restful night. Our room was spacious and spotless, which made the stay very comfortable. I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends.

Ms Uyen was such a nice host, and the grand piano was a fun bonus. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back to Lu Tan. It’s right downtown in Dalat, with a spacious room, a big kitchen and library, and a large garden full of flowers. Thank you!

The two hosts were lovely and helped us with meals and cleaning. There’s a fire pit and library upstairs for evenings spent cooking out, plus foot baths in the bedrooms. Rooms are clean, and there’s room service if you need it. Vietnamese coffee is ready in the lobby each morning. Honestly, this is the best place I can imagine staying in Dalat. See the pics.

It feels like home here. The room was very clean, the service was amazing, and the staff gave us great support. Fruit and drinks are available in the pantry. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Da Lat.
