Mê Villa Dalat

Watch out, this turned into a mess. I booked a villa at the last minute on my way to Da Lat, Vietnam, for 13 elderly guests, but we never got inside. The gate was locked when we arrived, and neither my calls to the owner nor my messages through the Expedia app got a reply. We waited close to an hour, then canceled in the app and booked somewhere else, assuming Expedia would sort it out. They said the booking was final and non-refundable, so I was charged $600 for a place I couldn't access. Expedia later emailed that the owner had contacted me right when we arrived, but that message was in Vietnamese, which I can't read or understand. Why not answer in the app while I was messaging, or call me using the contact details I provided? I blame both Expedia and the owner. I won't pay for a service I never received. After more than 20 years as a loyal customer, I'll dispute the charge and seriously rethink booking with Expedia.

Me Dalat Villa has a calm feel, and the rooms were clean with a stylish look. It was also easy to get to the city center and places to eat. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic vacation here and would recommend it to friends and family.
