Getting the keys took me half an hour. They contacted me on WhatsApp and said the keys were in a mailbox that was hard to access. The check-in process isn’t like a hotel reception, and the people at the door struggled to understand me. They don’t speak any language other than their own.

The security guard sits right in the card-swiping area and talks loudly to customers, acting like a parent.

CBRE’s management service has been very unfriendly and unpleasant toward residents. There are plenty of problems, but I didn’t think I’d have an experience this bad today. The process is cumbersome and bureaucratic. When residents complain, the staff argue back, partly because they seem to view themselves as representatives of the homeowner. I got so angry I said, “Okay, let me send someone else to talk to you.” They turned around and replied in a challenging tone, “Whatever you want, I’ll do it.” Wow, amazing. I wonder if CapitaLand would still trust CBRE if they knew about this.

The reception staff and security guards won't take your belongings if you leave them at the desk before the owner gets back from work.
