The owner was very helpful and even gave us free coffee samples. The new rooms are very nice, built last year, and the value is superb. It's a pleasant, quiet spot about a 20-minute walk into town, or a $1 Grab ride. There's a local restaurant two minutes away with deer, wild boar, and a range of Vietnamese food. Have your taxi driver call, since the place is just before 58 Pasteur, down the alley on the right as you come from town.
The owners were cheerful and friendly, and the room was clean and new. I'll definitely stay and support them again next time.
The owner is about 1.8m tall, has a big build, and speaks softly. Prices are reasonable, and you can park in the alley or use the free lot opposite. 10/10.
I booked a three-bed room, but when I arrived they only had a two-bed room available and wouldn't offer a discount if I took it. The person showing me the room said I'd move to my original booking once the next guest checked out. The next day, when it was time to move, they told me that guest wasn't leaving after all, so I couldn't switch. Terrible service.
I booked through Booking.com for a good price, and even after I changed the dates twice, the owner stayed helpful. We arrived early in Da Lat during heavy rain, and they let us check in early without an extra charge. Later, my friend accidentally flushed toilet paper down the toilet at 10 pm. The owner helped us sort it out and only gave us a reminder, which we really appreciated. The whole trip went well, and this was the best room service I've had in Da Lat. The motorbikes they rented were new and reliable too. I'll definitely book here again on my next Da Lat trip.
