New Life Dalat Hotel

That black coffee was especially nice first thing in the morning. Breakfast was good and convenient, even though the choices for Muslim guests were limited and the menu was mostly the same each day. I found the room comfortable and quiet. The view and bed were both 10/10, there were no odd smells, and the soundproofing was decent. The shower had great pressure and temperature, though water collected around my feet and drained slowly. A mat just outside the bathroom helped. There were a few signs of wear, like marks on the bathroom door and slightly ripped curtains, which I only noticed on my last night. The fridge worked fine, but had been left open before I arrived, so some water had melted onto the floor. I wiped it up, and all was fine after that. Checkout went smoothly, and the guy handling it was super nice. The hotel has a great view and cool, refreshing weather. There’s lots of parking for cars and motorcycles, and being near the bus station made it easy to get a GrabCar or GrabBike. My midnight check-in was quick and friendly, and the receptionist also helped when I couldn't figure out the balcony door. You have to lift the handle, then turn the lock. I stayed two nights and would definitely come back.

For our three nights, the price seemed reasonable and good value. The place was in good shape, the room was maintained well, and we could park a car or bike in front. Staff were very friendly and stood up to greet us whenever we arrived. It's near the cross-region bus station and only 5-7 minutes from Da Lat market. Worth a try.

We had booked the Executive Suite, the most expensive room, but it was a bad experience. The room itself was clean, but smelled awful. The balcony and stairs were dirty, and the toilet was dirty and smelly too. They did move us to another room, but the stay was still terrible.

The room needs some updating, especially the very old furniture, so I couldn't give it five stars. The location was great, with an amazing view, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast.
