Ngoc Bich Guesthouse

The balcony's relaxing, beautiful lake view made up for the somewhat old furniture. The room itself was decent and clean. When I stayed on January 20, 2025, it cost 300k if I contacted the owner, or 316 through the Booking app. Four stars from me.

The manager and his family were so friendly and helpful, from arranging rooms and motorbikes to lending us other things. Since we were students, we got a discount on the room, and the manager helped us rent motorbikes at the original price. The place is right by the lake with a lake view, yet it isn't expensive. This was the first booking I was extremely satisfied with, and I'll definitely visit again.

The rooms look out over Xuan Huong Lake with a beautiful panoramic view, in an alley right beside it. Rates are good: 400k VND for a room with two double beds for four people, or 350k VND for three, with no holiday increase. The owners are lovely and enthusiastic. Inside, it's classic wood, with an old-fashioned exterior, a wardrobe, two chairs, an ottoman, table, TV, and refrigerator. The bathroom has separate dry and wet areas, strong water pressure, and water that heats quickly, even at the sink faucet.

The price was reasonable. I paid 350k for a room with one double bed and one single, and the owner lowered it to 300k when I stayed longer. The hotel is clean, the reception staff are friendly, and the owner is lovely. Rooms overlook Xuan Huong Lake, and the water pressure is strong with hot water coming on quickly.
