On my first trip to Da Lat, I arrived around 7am, well before the 2pm check-in time. The staff kindly let me in around 9am, which was incredibly convenient. I booked a tour through the hotel for the next morning, with a 4am start, but I fell ill and couldn’t get up. Staff came to my room to check on me, and I felt bad that they had risen so early just to cancel the tour. They were focused on how I was feeling, though. I managed to take the tour the following day, but got sick again and vomited on the hotel bed. I was embarrassed and worried I’d be charged, but Diamond was concerned about my well-being and told me not to worry about the bed. Diamond and the team were kind and understanding throughout my stay. That care was truly exceptional. Thanks so much, Diamond. I’ll always remember your kindness. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants outstanding service at an affordable rate.

Among the roughly seven places I’ve stayed in Dalat that cost under 1 million VND a night, this was the cleanest. The cleaning lady does a great job, though one high spot in the shower could use a dusting or wipe. Everywhere else was clean. It looks recently renovated, or at least very well maintained. The walls are thin, so you can faintly hear people talking next door. The water is hot and has good pressure. The location is great, with a very good cafe out front. The night market is a four minute walk away, and Xuan Huong lake is just down the steps. There’s plenty of parking out front for cars and mopeds. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go-to place to stay in Dalat from now on.

One of the best affordable stays near Da Lat Market and Hoa Binh Centre, with Da Lat Market just a five minute walk away for nightlife and other needs in the highland city. The room was very spacious and the bathroom clean. A balcony room overlooking Xuan Huong Lake is especially nice: you can watch the mist in the early morning, the downtown traffic pick up, light rain in the afternoon, then music and the mini water and laser show on the lake at night. There’s parking for cars, which suits families traveling by car, and the property also has a large, pleasant coffee shop overlooking the lake for a relaxed morning. Highly recommended.

The balcony looks out over Xuan Huong lake, and the night market is only steps away. It’s very convenient, and I’d stay here again.
