I was turned away when I arrived with the address from my booking. The hotel said it doesn’t work with Agoda and suggested its photos might be used in misleading listings. What made the situation worse was that staff wouldn’t help explain things or even give me a basic confirmation to pass to customer support. I understand the hotel may not control third-party listings, but a little cooperation and professionalism would have helped. I wouldn’t rely on a booking tied to this place without checking directly first. Very disappointing.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the villa itself was lovely, though it’s a bit far from Da Lat’s center. I’d booked on Agoda on a whim because the price looked unusually low. The manager told me it was a booking platform error, but after we talked it through, he still let me stay as booked. He was kind, welcoming, and generous.

My sister’s family had no real choice but to take the room they offered: Da Lat was fully booked, and she had two young children with her. The receptionist had shown me photos of a room that looked okay, but on arrival it was a different ground-floor room, worse than the pictures. The staff member who led us there even called it a staff room. It was listed at 700k VND, with one bed and an extra mattress, after they said the room I’d reserved had gone to someone else because the receptionist wrote down the wrong date. I’d booked a two-bed room for 1.7 million VND a night for the 4th of the lunar month, knowing Tet rates were high. I paid a 700k VND deposit and confirmed everything through Zalo. When I pushed back, they said this was the only room left. I was put in a really difficult position. If the hotel keeps operating this way during holidays, I don’t think it’ll last. Reputation is what brings people back. The owner also shouldn’t speak down to guests. When you make a mistake, fix it respectfully. Showing me a worse room than the one in the photos made me despise these business practices. Business should be ethical.

We had the owner arrange a BBQ, and it was tasty and reasonably priced, with all fresh ingredients. The owner was lovely, the staff were helpful, and the hotel and rooms were clean and great. A really nice place.
