Padona Hotel

We’d seen such mixed reviews while trying to find a decent hotel in Dalat, but we ended up having a wonderful stay here. We booked with Padona at the last minute, then extended because we liked it so much. The location was excellent, with lots of cute spots in walking distance. Our room was spacious, the balcony lovely, and the bathroom a good size. We’d definitely come back if we visit Dalat again.

The location worked well, and our room had a spacious layout, a pleasant design, and a nice balcony. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was large, the reception felt cozy, and the staff were friendly. There was Netflix and plenty of lighting, apart from at the dresser. But we found long hairs in the dressing table drawer, and the bedroom slippers had clearly been used. The shower head leaked, and the shower and sink water got extremely hot, so be careful. There were no tissues, hand soap, proper towel hooks by the shower, in-room safe, heater, or credit card payment option. We also heard mechanical noises in the room. We stayed three nights in December 2022 after booking through Agoda, which listed some in-room amenities incorrectly. There are many things to improve, and this could be a better hotel.

We stayed right in the city center, but it was still fairly quiet. The larger rooms with balconies were roomy, and the staff were friendly.

I was very satisfied with everything. The service was quite good, and everything else was very good too.
