Being within walking distance of Da Lat city center was the one good thing. Our street-facing room was very noisy. Around 3am was the quietest time, when we couldn't hear anything. There were four of us, but the room came with just two towels. After asking several times for two more, we got two hand towels instead. They also supplied only two bottles of complimentary spring water for four guests. The lack of attention to details was clear. The room we got was old, worn, and musty, with mould and stains in the bathroom. Booking.com showed the best rooms, which looked clean and new, so the pictures didn't match our room. Don't be fooled by the five-star reviews, find somewhere else.

Duyen was lovely and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were honest. I left my sunglasses behind in the room with some other belongings, and they passed them to Duyen, who contacted me about them. The family room for four was quiet, spacious, and, most importantly, clean. The location is great, with lots of places to eat nearby. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Da lat.

The location and price make this hotel a strong option, and the place is mostly clean. The staff kindly moved us to a larger room, which I appreciated. The owner or manager speaks English, so communication was easy. Our window looked into the air well, almost directly across from a neighbor’s window. There’s no ventilation in the room, so we had to leave the window slightly open for fresh air. That made the poor soundproofing more noticeable: voices from the hallway and footsteps on other floors carried through the air well and disturbed our sleep.

The receptionists were kind and accommodating. We arrived very early, before a room was available, but one of them found us a room nearby and had ours prepared as soon as it became vacant. We moved back to pontus hotel at 11 am without paying extra. The hotel is neat, modern, and minimalist, and the rooms are well maintained for the price. It’s also within walking distance of the lake and night market, which made it easy to stroll around. Definitely recommend it.

I had a pleasant stay. The location is convenient, close to the city center and handy for exploring. The women on staff and at reception were lovely, and they tried to be flexible and accommodate my requests.
