Savio Bui Thi Xuan

The electric kettle was filthy, apparently left greasy after a previous guest cooked noodles or soup in it. We asked for a replacement, but that one wasn't much cleaner. The bathroom also drained very slowly because hair was left stuck in the drain, and we pulled out a whole bunch ourselves. We only got two bottles of water on the first day, then none after that. Housekeeping saw us leaving the room once and ignored us. Even if guests buy their own water, staff shouldn't assume they don't need more. That's basic hotel service. During our seven-day stay, the sheets were changed only three times, and on days they didn't clean the room, they also didn't bring fresh towels. There was no mention at check-in of a rule that rooms aren't cleaned after 10:00 PM. For the first two days, we went out after 11:00 AM and they cleaned, even though I asked whether they were going to clean. On the third day, they said there'd be no cleaning after 10:00 PM. The morning staff member, Uyen, blamed housekeeping. I’ve stayed everywhere from budget to luxury hotels and never heard of that. The afternoon male staff member with glasses was also terrible. Our room had only a bare metal chair, with no cushion. I asked him about it and he said he'd check the storage, then went quiet. If there wasn't one, they should have told guests. Staff had cushioned chairs themselves, but when a guest asked for one, there was no response.

The old rental motorbike was shaky and had bad brakes, which made riding on mountain roads terrifying. I brought it back late that night without complaining, then came around 9am to return it and rent another one myself. They charged me for half a day. That wasn't technically wrong, but the service felt unprofessional. My room was large and simply furnished, with a big balcony overlooking BTX street. The floor was strangely damp and sticky, and the bathroom drained slowly. There was a bar next door, and my first-floor room got noisy at night, so I kept the balcony door closed.

Right by BTX market and the ice cream area, with Bơ NVT and Fungi Chingu across the way, so there are tons of places to eat. It's busy and lively, right in the city center. The service was very good, my room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were cutegggg. They also rent out new motorbikes at reasonable prices. I'll definitely come back 🥰

The night shift male staff member was so frustrating. Calls and booking-system messages went unanswered, and the hotel's phone number had been blocked. When I went to reception for help contacting the booking system, he left me waiting for ages. He had headphones on, reading and entertaining himself, and seemed not to care about work. Even when I stood at the counter, he barely noticed me. When I finally spoke to him, he kept saying, “yes, yes, I'll check,” then put his headphones back on and continued playing. The service was terrible.
