Romeo Juliet Dalat Resort

The peaceful view and the friendly dogs were the nicest parts of our stay at Romeo and Juliet Guesthouse in Dalat. The dogs made the place feel more charming, and the view was beautiful and relaxing. Sadly, the rest of the stay was disappointing. Breakfast was disorganized. It was meant to start at 7:30 AM, but the food wasn't ready when guests arrived, and people were already lining up. The receptionist was also helping in the kitchen with another staff member, which made things confusing. There wasn't enough food for everyone, so you had to take your portion as soon as it appeared or miss out. Choices were limited, and the food didn't meet local standards. We even had to wait for the receptionist to leave the kitchen before we could check out. The mattress was the worst I've experienced in Vietnam, and the bed creaked loudly whenever I moved, making it hard to sleep. The toilet was clogged, and we had to deal with it ourselves because nobody was around to help. There was noise from children until around 9:30 PM, and no one at reception to address it, so I had to handle the situation myself. The guesthouse is also far from the city center, which made getting to main attractions inconvenient. Agoda listed air conditioning for the rooms, but ours had none. I don't know whether that was a booking platform error or a misleading claim from the guesthouse management, but it was disappointing and uncomfortable in the weather. I wouldn't recommend it to foreign tourists. The lack of organization, the bed, the clogged toilet, the noise, and the air conditioning issue made the stay unpleasant.

I stayed for three days, two in a villa and one in a hotel because there was a problem with my villa. It's a good place for a short trip, and I'd recommend it. The staff were all friendly, and I'll come back. Add the 50k breakfast package, it's worth it. I loved the salads and how the dishes changed each day.

The room was clean, the bathroom spacious, and the bed comfortable and clean. I checked in around 21:00h, and the service was easy and smooth. I had a lakeview room with a balcony, and the view was amazing. The surroundings are green and serene. I paid 780 dong. There was no fridge, and I don't remember seeing an AC either, though Da Lat is cold enough that air conditioning isn't really needed. I'd recommend it.

The landscaping at Romeo & Juliet was lovely and made for a relaxing setting. I was upgraded from a garden view room to a lake view room, which was a nice surprise. The location is a little removed from the city center, but it's a peaceful escape surrounded by natural beauty. There aren't many nightlife or entertainment options nearby. I arrived at midnight and was greeted warmly by the friendly, helpful staff. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made me feel valued. The food was a highlight: delicious meals made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The dining experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend the family portion. Romeo & Juliet is a hidden gem with great service, good food, and natural surroundings. I'd recommend it if you're after a quiet retreat with friendly staff.
