Tea Resort Dalat

It was the people who made this stay so special for us. All the staff were welcoming and kind, and I especially want to thank Huy from the restaurant. My daughter came down with a bad cold and wasn’t eating much. Each morning, Huy thoughtfully made warm cocoa for her and packed us a lunch box to take along. When your child is sick on a trip, little acts like that mean a lot. His care helped our family feel comforted during a worrying time. Grand Mercure Dalat Resort itself is beautiful, elegant, and very clean. The gardens are well looked after, the pool is lovely, and the atmosphere feels luxurious and relaxing. We’re grateful for the memories and hope to return someday. Thank you, Huy, and the whole Grand Mercure Dalat Resort team.

The hotel is lovely, new, and relaxing, with beautiful gardens and flowers. In Dalat’s cool weather, the pleasant music around the hotel made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, with excellent bedding and a lovely feather down pillow. They also offer turn-down service. Breakfast had a good selection, including sparkling wine. Mr. Vinh, the Front Manager, looked after us from the start. We arrived very late on our first night, and he personally waited to welcome us. On checkout day, our van transfer to Cam Ranh ran into a serious problem. He spoke with the driver and car company, helped arrange another van, and stayed with us through a heated conversation. His calm, dedicated support made a real difference. Mr. Vinh also told us an executive lounge is expected to open in about two months, which gives us another reason to return. We’d definitely come back and recommend Mercure Dalat to people visiting Dalat or Vietnam.

The bellman and buggy driver were the only parts I enjoyed. They were friendly and supportive. The managers didn’t seem to know how to handle service issues and mostly ignored my problem, perhaps because they didn’t know how to fix it. Their handwritten apology had many mistakes, including calling my friend “Mrs” and using incorrect grammar. When they came to discuss the issue, they kept saying they were sorry and blaming department A, department B, and so on. Honestly, I was frustrated listening to it. The soundproofing was so poor that footsteps from other floors and normal conversation next door were easy to hear. Getting a good night’s sleep felt extremely difficult. This is far from what I’d expect of a “5 star hotel,” and I won’t come back. Sorry to say it. Thank you.

We had booked Mercure Da Lat for 23rd to 24th May 2026, with the hotel kindly agreeing to have a room ready by 10:00 AM even though the official check-in was 3:00 PM. A mix-up in our travel schedule meant we arrived much earlier than planned, around 3:00 AM. Ms. Nhung at reception was kind, professional, and accommodating. She went out of her way to get us a room and make sure we were looked after, with no extra charge. The hotel was genuinely willing to help us in the middle of the night. As an Accor Platinum member who has stayed at many Accor properties, I can say this was one of my most memorable hospitality experiences. The Mercure Da Lat team made our little couple’s getaway special and unforgettable. Deep thanks to Ms. Nhung and the whole team. We look forward to visiting again soon.
