Windy House - Hostel

We were really happy with our choice. The room was clean and private, with our own bathroom. They can arrange a scooter rental, and if you ask, they'll help with travel plans too. They arranged a bus for us to our next destination.

Our New Year vacation was ruined. We'd booked a room two weeks ahead, but when we arrived, the hotel had none available. The staff kindly offered another room at a different hotel, but it had a small bed and was on a busy street. We spent the next two hours walking around the city trying to find somewhere to stay. With it being high season, a decent place was hard to find, and in the end we had to pay twice the price for a similar hotel. Be careful, and Happy New Year!

Getting help was difficult because the workers didn’t speak English. The room itself was fairly clean, but there were lots of ants by the minibar, and the bathroom was dirty with mold all over. The place was just okay, and it’s outside the center, so you have to walk at least 8 minutes to reach the shops and restaurants.

We loved staying in room 304 and slept with the window open. The hotel is on a hill but right in the city center, and they provide free drinking water, which saved us carrying or buying it. The staff were friendly, the WiFi worked well for work, and the shower had strong hot water. We rented a scooter from the hotel and it worked well. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Dalat.
